Cinesonika is a semi-annual conference at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC that showcases new experimental of film and video works with fascinating soundtracks, idiosyncratic sound design, eclectic scoring, and innovative approaches to the sound-image relationship. Curated by Festival director Michael Filimowicz, this program of highlights from recent editions of the event offers an international perspective on media artists exploring sound and image relationships.
