Shy but plucky runt piglet Babe doesn’t quite seem to know his place in the world. When he’s won by farmer Hoggett at the county fair, he is adopted by a barnyard border collie and discovers he can be anything he wants to be—even an award-winning sheepdog! Surrounded by a colorful cast of farm friends, Babe fights to avoid the destiny of most pigs through sheer invention. The Northwest Film Center recognizes and honors the Indigenous peoples of this region on whose ancestral lands the museum now stands.
