Pre-release preview screening! Anna can’t wait for high school to be over so she can skip small-town life for the allure of the city. But just as the holidays hit, a zombie outbreak threatens everyone’s plans. What better way to survive a zombie apocalypse than to sing your heart out? Anna and the Apocalypse is the high school musical set during a monstrous outbreak at Christmas that you’ve been yearning for all your life. “You will hum along, you will tap our toes, if you’re a big softy like me, you’ll cry, but you will definitely have a great time and you will want to see it again as soon as possible at a midnight screening where everybody knows the words.”—Haleigh Foutch, Collider

Wear a xmas, zombie, or horror themed costume to the screening and you’ll automatically be entered in our Anna and the Apocalypse costume contest with prizes awarded before the start of the film.

The Northwest Film Center recognizes and honors the Indigenous peoples of this region on whose ancestral lands the museum now stands. These include the Willamette Tumwater, Clackamas, Kathlemet, Molalla, Multnomah and Watlala Chinook Peoples and the Tualatin Kalapuya who today are part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and many other Native communities who made their homes along the Columbia River. We also want to recognize that Portland today is a community of many diverse Native peoples who continue to live and work here. We respectfully acknowledge and honor all Indigenous communities—past, present, future—and are grateful for their ongoing and vibrant presence.
