44th Northwest Filmmakers’ Festival

The Northwest Filmmakers’ Festival is the Northwest’s premiere showcase of new work by leading regional filmmakers. This touchstone annual event brings artists and audiences together for a community celebration including current northwest film exhibition and opportunities for Northwest filmmakers to learn from and connect with each other. Annually, Northwest Fest draws more than 400 entries from Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. This year’s festival will take place November 2 – 5.

We accept feature films, short films, long short films, made after Jan 1, 2015.  Submissions are now closed. Notifications will be sent out in late September.

The Northwest Filmmakers’ Summit
The Northwest Filmmakers’ Summit is a one day event that will take place on Saturday November 4, 10am – 4pm at the Portland Art Museum and feature vendors, panels, presentations and more. This event is built to showcase some of the new and amazing technologies available to the filmmaking world, while also providing a space for dialog and discourse.
