Richard Reeves is a Canadian filmmaker born in the United Kingdom who is known for whimsical and abstract animated films with stunning soundtracks made of graphical sound.  With a background in painting, printmaking, photography and music, he was led to the practice of direct animation early in his career creating such titles as Zigzag, Linear Dreams, Seasong and Twilight (which screened in this year’s Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival), all of which employ his unique sound and image technique.  He is collected in the National Library and Archives of Canada and National Film Board of Canada among many other entities and has screened in film festival worldwide.
