Melissa Tvetan is a passionate professional with experience in animation, experimental filmmaking, and indie storytelling. She managed the editorial department at the animation studio LAIKA/house (now HouseSpecial) for many years and worked on commercials for Sony, M&M’s, Planters Peanuts, and many more. She is also the Post-Production Supervisor for the annual Sundance Institute Feature Film Program’s Directors Lab, providing editorial support for the emerging filmmakers in residence. A former student and current faculty instructor at the Northwest Film Center’s School of Film, she enjoys helping others learn how to make films almost as much as she likes making her own.
