July 6, 2020 – July 10, 2020

MON-FRI | 8:45 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Bring your original drawings, artwork and characters to life using Dragonframe software and stop motion animation work stations.  Learn how animators create movement frame by frame using such techniques as squash and stretch and ease-in/ease-out. Then, working with paper, clay, objects and more, create the components which will come together to tell your own original animated story.  We’ll focus on creating interesting and entertaining characters, and ways to make movement smooth and natural. By the end of the class, your imagined world will be ready for the screen and you’ll know how to make your future creations move with ease! The class culminates at 2:30 on Friday with a free family screening, complete with popcorn.  Your finished projects will be uploaded to a class online video album for sharing far and wide.

Tuition includes all equipment and supplies.
