July 20, 2020 – July 24, 2020

MON-FRI | 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Turn your digital and hand-drawn 2D artwork into animated stories using Adobe Animate software and Wacom Intuos Pro tablets.  Using work stations in our digital editing lab, you’ll start by learning the fundamentals of digital illustration and hand-drawn digital animation including such techniques as squash and stretch, staging, timing, and parallax scrolling. Then you’ll scan, manipulate and animate your own artwork frame by frame, developing characters and a storyline of your original creation. Top it off by recording a voiceover (narration) and adding sound effects and music to give it extra spark. The class culminates at 5 pm on Friday with a free family screening, complete with popcorn.  Your finished projects will be uploaded to a class online video album for sharing far and wide.

Tuition includes all equipment and supplies.
