Families with a high interest child or teen and significant financial need may request tuition assistance for any currently enrolling camps or youth classes (except for the Media Arts Academy). You cannot use this form to apply for assistance for the Media Arts Academy.

High interest might be demonstrated by attitude, experience (in-school or out of school) or other indicators. Significant financial need is present when it is impossible for a family to consider enrollment without a substantial reduction in tuition.

There is no formal deadline. Applications will be accepted until funds are exhausted. Only one application (one child) per family per year.

The selection committee will review and make notification within seven business days of receiving your application, so please be mindful of camp dates that your child would like to attend.

If you have questions, please email info@nwfilm.org

General Tuition Assistance Application for Kids & Teens

Statements

The Northwest Film Center recognizes and honors the Indigenous peoples of this region on whose ancestral lands the museum now stands. These include the Willamette Tumwater, Clackamas, Kathlemet, Molalla, Multnomah and Watlala Chinook Peoples and the Tualatin Kalapuya who today are part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and many other Native communities who made their homes along the Columbia River. We also want to recognize that Portland today is a community of many diverse Native peoples who continue to live and work here. We respectfully acknowledge and honor all Indigenous communities—past, present, future—and are grateful for their ongoing and vibrant presence.
